Required Disclosures By Growth Zone Accounting
As a Tax Agent our work for you is performed in accordance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009. Under this Act, the Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct) Determination 2024 requires that we make the following disclosures to you:
Disclosures
From 1 July 2022 onward, any matters that could reasonably be expected to significantly influence your decision to engage or continue to engage us for a Tax Agent Service are disclosed below.
At this time, there are no such matters to report.
Public Board
The Tax Practitioners Board maintains a public register of registered Tax Agents and BAS Agents. You can search the register at: https://www.tpb.gov.au/public-register
Complaint Handling
If you have a complaint regarding our Tax Agent services, please contact your Accountant first by email with the details of your concern. If your complaint is not resolved within 5 business days, you may escalate the matter to Matthew Wren or Sree Avirneni.
Where possible, your complaint will be reviewed by someone not directly involved in the issue. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint via email, confirming our understanding of the matter and outlining the steps in our dispute resolution process. We aim to resolve all complaints within 15 business days.
If you are not satisfied with the resolution we propose, you may lodge a complaint with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) using the link provided above. The TPB will acknowledge your complaint by email and conduct a review and risk assessment.
Should you remain dissatisfied with the TPB’s handling of your complaint, the same link provides information on your rights to a further review and who else may be able to assist.
